- 2009: MIYA received the GWI Sustainability Award, presented by then-US Vice President Al Gore.
- 2010: MIYA was awarded the GWI Project of the Year Award for its advanced pressure management installation in South Africa.
- 2013 & 2014: MIYA was recognized with the IWA Project Innovation Award for two consecutive years.
