MIYA is pleased to announce that BBL Engenharia, Construção e Comércio, LTDA., a member of the MIYA group, has been awarded a new contract by SABESP to deliver wastewater infrastructure works in the TO-15 Basin as part of Phase 2 of the Integra Tietê Program.
The contract represents an investment of approximately US$40 million and will be executed over a 24-month period, covering the municipalities of Cotia, Carapicuíba and Osasco in the São Paulo Metropolitan Area.
The project scope includes the construction of more than 31 km of sewer collection networks and trunk sewers, a wastewater pumping station with its associated force main, new household sewer connections, CCTV inspections of the sewer network, and design and construction management using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology.
Upon completion, the project will connect 4,836 customer units to the sewerage system, contributing to improved sanitation services and supporting the environmental restoration of the Ribeirão Carapicuíba Basin and the Tietê River.
This award represents BBL Engenharia’s fourth major contract in Brazil in recent months, highlighting the continued growth of the MIYA group and reinforcing its commitment to delivering sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure solutions across Brazil.
